Yeshivat Noam Parent Association Committees

Class Parent Liason
Chair:   Shira Forman, Karen Goldberg and Erica Markovitz
Description:  

The Class Parent Liason Committee works to create a network of parents from each class to arrange a get together in the beginning of the year.

 
Author Visit

Description:  

The YNPA helps arrange and subsidizes class trips for Yeshivat Noam students.

 
Box Tops

Description:

Calendar

Parent volunteers gather the necessary information, solicit advertisements, proof the calendar, and distribute calendars to each YN family at the start of the school year.

The YNPA expresses Hakarat Hatov and organizes gifts for faculty and staff during Chanukah , Purim and at the end of the year.

 
Chumash Tekes and Chagigat HaSiddur Preparations

Description:  

The Chumash and Siddur plays are the highlights of the first and second grade student's year. The YNPA offers our administration a helping hand on some of the preparations for these momentous occassions.

 
Class Trips

Evening of the Arts

Featuring artistic, musical or other non-athletic talents from our student body! The event will be held on Rosh Chodesh Adar- what a better way to start the new month!

 
Faculty Appreciation Breakfast (Fall and Spring)

Description:  

In September and June the YNPA arranges breakfast for the faculty to enjoy during their meetings when teachers return to school and at the end of the year.

Show your school pride! Purchase YN sweatshirts, kippot, scrunchies and other items. Purchase through the website and have the items set home with your child. Logowear is also sold at YNPA events.

 
Mitzvah Cards

YNPA mitzvah cards are a convenient and meaningful way to express congratulations, thanks, or condolences. Cards can be picked up or mailed directly by the coordinator.

Pesach Model Seder

The YNPA sponsors and coordinates the Pesach Seder for students in Early Childhood. 

 
School Book Fair

The YNPA Book Fair takes place during the week of the Fall Parent Teacher Conferences. Hundreds of books are available for students and parents to purchase.

 
School Supplies

This committee is responsible for sale and distribution of school supplies.

 
Tu B'Shevat Seder

Description:  

The YNPA sponsors and coordinates a  Tu B'Shevat Seder for the Early  Childhood and Elementary grades. The sedarim are often led by the Israeli faculty members and provide an opportunity for students to celebrate the season of trees and spring in Israel.

 
Yom Haatzmaut Family Dinner

Description:  

The Yom Haatzmaut Family Dinner is a chance for the Yeshivat Noam Family to celebrate Israel's birthday together. The evening includes Israel themed activities dancing and student performances by our own Yeshivat Noam choir and 5th grade girls Daaglanut ceremony.
